Welcome back everyone, we hope you had a good rest and feel motivated and ready for 2012. We wish you all a remarkable year ahead.
REGISTRATIONS:
- BASA membership renewals and first time registrations are open. Please register before the 29 February 2012 to avoid paying a late registration fine of R250. (See membership and mal prac fees for 2012) Click here to renew your membership
- HPCSA membership renewals are due by 1 April 2012.
MALPRACTICE INSURANCE:
- It is so important that your members do not unwittingly void their cover by failing to timeously notify through all incidents and circumstances which could lead to a claim. I have also noticed that many try to write their own responses to HPCSA complaints and this needs to be discouraged as this also often results in underwriters rejecting their claims for legal assistance if the matter proceeds to an inquiry.
