10 therapists complete their WATSU 3 Hydrotherapy Training and Internationally Registered.
In May 2010 I once again hosted Peggy Schoedinger form Colorado, USA, for the third year. She did hydrotherapy training at my practice offering techniques that are uniquely hydrotherapeutic and not land exercises in the water like so many think hydrotherapy to be.
Techniques such as Halliwick, Bad Regaz and WATSU was offered as well as an Advance Aquatic Therapy course as an introduction to hydrotherapy. This year, 10 therapist were able to complete their WATSU 3 and thus became international WATSU practitioners registered on the WABA website.
I think quite an achievement for a country not known for there hydrotherapy capabilities. I also would like to think that initiating an “special interest group: Hydrotherapy” in the file of BIokinetics will have as seen more and more Bio’s qualifying as true hydrotherapists.
It was hard word with each course stretching over 5-6 days and all practical and only needed theory. We all looked like dried out prunes be the end of each day but our minds were over flowing with the amazing possibilities for therapy in this field. Hope you can use the picture!
